Purpose:
The San Carlos Southern Baptist Association (SCSBA), a fellowship of churches networking together, exists for the purpose of assisting churches, pastors, church planters, and church leaders to bring glory to God through obedience to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.

Our purpose includes the developing of strong, healthy, reproducing churches by:
· Mentoring leaders toward Christ-likeness in personal maturity.
(Romans 12:1-2)
· Training and equipping them for their leadership ministry.
(Ephesians 4:12-13)
· Preparing and assisting them in church multiplication.
(Matthew 28:18-20)
· Directing them toward a world vision in missions.
(Matthew 9:37-38)
Vision:
We envision the soon return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and believe there is an urgent need for evangelization through prepared leadership. We believe that lay leadership is the fastest and most effective way to reach the world for Jesus Christ.(I Corinthians 2:9, Proverbs 29:18)
We envision our family of churches networking together, each contributing their strengths to establish a strong, unified Association. From this unity, we envision Spirit-led individuals and congregations ministering to and impacting their communities, their state, their country and the world in the expansion of the Kingdom of God for the glory of Jesus Christ.

We continue to search for the man God has for us. In the mean time we have an Interim Pastor Amos Coffey. The deacons take turns bringing the Wednesday night Bible study and prayer time. We just finished VBS - The Big Apple - New York. We had 13 decision's for Christ, 5 baptisted and have more to come. Praise God. Pastor Amos Coffey has challenged us to sign committment cards to pray for the church everyday for 10 minutes, and God is Blessing.
